History & Statement:
The Panosaurus Virtual Tour Viewer (PVTV) project was conceived in the minds of Greg Rubottom and Eric Knickerbocker in 2007 in response to the perceived need for a better and easier way to display 360-degree panoramic images and other virtual tour media in a free and enjoyable way on the internet. The project was officially launched in March 2011.
The PVTV provides virtual tour photographers, hobbiests, and web-content providers the means to easily create, manage, display, and link to an excellent tour experience without having to be a specialist in the web field or pay a fee to display that tour in the popular search markets.
The PVTV is the ideal tool to help accomplish these two goals: an experience that is both pleasant for the the viewer and a great help to tour creators and web developers seeking a way to display superior virtual tour content.
We hope that by providing this free online service with its attractive and easy-to-use interface we can play our part in moving the web toward a more convenient and user-friendly virtual tomorrow.
